The Transitional National Assembly has elected Libya Abdel-Rahim el-Keeb as new interim Prime Minister, hours before NATO ends its mission Libya.
Original Tripoli won with a slim majority Monday, gained 26 member Board transition 51 votes. El-Keeb is educated U.S. electrical engineer who received his doctorate at North Carolina State University.
He served with the form a new Government that would pave the way for national elections.

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen hailed the seven-month campaign of bombing during a visit to Tripoli Monday. He said he was “proud of NATO part” in helping Libya transition power drive Partially Gadhafi from power.
Rasmussen said the Alliance acted to protect the people of Libya and “together we are succeeding.” He called Libya “free at last,” praising people for having transformed the country and helped to transform the area.
The NATO Chief is in Libya’s capital for talks with the Transitional National Council, including Chairman Mustafa Abdel Jalil. Rasmussen said the discussions will focus on Libya’s hopes about the possibility of future NATO assistance and State roadmap to transition to a democratic Government.
NATO officially decided to discontinue the mandate of the mission after the UNITED NATIONS canceled last week, even though Libya has urged NATO leaders transition to continue because of security.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says Libya is facing “enormous challenges” to unite the country, and political leaders who have a complicated task ahead. But he told The Washington Post, United States and other countries have offered assistance, and will assist Libya in a way they can.
In the meantime, Libya came out while the Prime Minister, Mahmoud Jibril, Sunday said he could confirm the presence of chemical weapons in the country. He did not give details about the weapons sites, but the representatives of international organizations are set to arrive this weekend to deal with the problem.
Last week, the UN’S top Envoy to Libya, Ian Martin, told the Security Council previously undeclared chemical weapons sites have been found in Libya.
